  Incomplete Gamma Function Calculator for the Upper Limit of Integration

This calculator will return the upper limit of integration (from x to infinity) for the incomplete gamma function, given a real variable x and a complex variable a (where the real part of a is positive).

Note that there are many forms of the incomplete gamma function. Please check your needs against the formula shown below to ensure that you are using the correct form. I also have calculators for computing the lower limit of integration, the regularized incomplete gamma function, and the complemented incomplete gamma function.

x: A non-negative real variable.
a: A complex variable.

Also note that this function can return values larger than one. This is because the gamma function can return values larger than one, and this function approaches the gamma function as x approaches zero:
